This one-day event offers scholars an opportunity to contribute to the international journal Shakespeare’s special issue on ‘Shakespeare and Japan’, edited by Dominic Shellard. Papers are invited on all aspects of Shakespeare and Japan, ranging from performances, film adaptations, and translations to accounts of the plays’ critical reception in Japan.
