Subject: *Shakespeare and Schools*
Mr. Urkowitz you win the Reference Question of the Month award! I have
been pursuing *Shakespeare and Schools* but it's elusive. I ended up
going to the UK for an answer. Yes, you may search Cambridge U's
online catalog from over here and that is where I FINALLY found something.
*Shakespeare and Schools* is published by the Cambridge Institute of
Education. Shakespeare and Schools Project. But that's all the catalog
says. I can't find subscription price or editor in any of the standard
(or nonstandard for that matter) sources. I have tried most of the major
libraries in the States and Canada but can't find it anywhere (cataloging
info. often includes price). I have one last place to try in the morning
when the catalogers get in and will report any results then.
Oh, being a reference librarian I still pursue the R. Davies quote now
and again. I think he made it up.
