Subject: SNL's 1992 Summer Festivals List

SHAKSPEReans,

For more than forty years, *The Shakespeare Newsletter* has been
publishing the most complete list of summer Shakespeare festivals
available. I have just begun to compile the 1992 list. If you are
associated with a summer Shakespeare festival that was included in
SNL's Summer Festivals list in 1991, you should be receiving
information for updating your festival's entry for 1992 in a few
days. If you are associated with a summer Shakespeare festival that
was not included in last year's listing, please contact me so that I
can make the 1992 list as comprehensive as possible.

I would also appreciate any information any of you may have on the
following festivals:

New Brunswick at Rutgers Art Center
		Newport Rhode Island Shakespeare Theatre
		Orinda California Festival
		Trinity Park Playhouse

Please write me privately.

Subject: Welsh in Shakespeare

I presented a paper at the 16th Century Studies Conference back in October on
"_The Merry Wives of Windsor_ and Elizabeth I: The Welsh Connection." I wasn't
able to locate many works which dealt with the Welsh characters found in
Shakespeare, and I was wondering if anyone knew of some source(s) on this
subject. I'm interested in expanding this paper or collaborating on the
subject, but find myself alone in the world of Welsh.
