Subject: NYC play production

All are invited to a production of John Heywood's PLAY CALLED THE FOUR PP
at City College of New York, Wednesday and Thursday, May 6 and 7, at 12:30 pm
and again on Thursday, May 7 at 7 pm.

The noontime performances will be out-of-doors in the Administration Building
Plaza, Convent Avenue at 138th Street. The Thursday evening performance is in
Shepard Hall, Room 250, an elegantly panelled and carved small concert hall.
The entrance is one block north of the Administration Building Plaza.

For travel information, call me at 675-1309.

The piece plays far better than it reads, and it flies along very happily with
an energetic and talented cast.

I haven't seen any announcements of the University of Toronto's POCULI
LUDIQUE SOCIETAS 25th Anniversary Play Festival, May 22-24. We'll be bringing
THE FOUR PP, and other short plays will be coming from as far away as Rome.
The final schedule isn't set, but at least a dozen medieval and Renaissance
pieces will be performed. For more detailed information, contact
Rachael Boles, Festival Coordinator, PLS, 39 Queen's Park Crescent East,
Toronto, Ontario M5S 2C3, phone (416) 978-5096, fax (416) 971-1398.

In throes of production week, Steve Urkowitz SURCC@CUNYVM
