COMPUTERS IN HUMANITIES TEACHING & RESEARCH

An introductory seminar will be held at Oxford University Computing Services
for humanities academics, to present the computer resources available for
research and teaching. A variety of software will be on display, and the
following subjects discussed:
% An Introduction to Computers in the Humanities
% Electronic Resources and Electronic Texts
% Hypertext and Multimedia in Textual Subjects
% Automatic Concordancing and Text Analysis
% Teaching Tools for the Humanities
The seminar is organized by the CTI Centre for Textual Studies, and costs #35
(#15 for Oxford University staff). This includes coffee, lunch, and tea.
