A happy new year to all from the old Continent, both more united from
yesterday Jan. 1st, and more torn apart with what happens further East from
here.
 
I have no news concerning the appearance of Branagh's film, but I can be
positive that his *Hamlet* will move from London to Stratford upon Avon where
it will open next April. I will see it then, with the *Richard III*, starring
Simon Russel Beale. I will report for SHAKSPER if you will.
