Thanks for the references to Jewish stereotypes.  They will be helpful.  I'm
just beginning to get into the project myself;  Ruth Mellinkoff's stuff
(articles and books) on Cain and on Judas and even on the horned Moses
are helpful.  Right now, I'm looking in particular for instances of
Jews with knives -- the "whetting the knife motif" and, harder to
locate, the motif of the Jew as nay-sayer to pleasure (as a hater of
masques and music).
