I am new to the list and came across Bill Gelber's query about Peter
Hall's methods of teaching verse speaking while browsing through last
December's log file. I don't think anyone mentioned Tirzah Lowen's
recent book, _Peter Hall Directs Antony and Cleopatra_ (London: Methuen,
1990), which has a chapter (Language: 'Content and Stucture are
Indivisible') on precisely this.
