Subject: Job Announcement
Theatre: University of Scranton, Assistant Professor Acting/Directing. The
Department of English at the University of Scranton is seeking to fill a
tenure-track position in a growing theatre program beginning August, 1995.
Responsibilities include teaching directing and all levels of acting, as well
as directing part of mainstage season in a new theatre arts complex.
Responsibilities may also include teaching introductory courses in theatre and
drama. M.F.A. or doctorate required. Candidates should have teaching
experience and some professional acting and/or directing experience.
Application deadline is February 24, 1995. Interested candidates should submit
a vita and dossier to: F.X. Jordan, Ph.D., Chair, Department of English,
University of Scranton, Scranton, Pennsylvania 18510. Preliminary interviews
will be conducted by telephone. The University of Scranton is a selective
