Subject: Shakespeare & Co workshop; summer reading
Greetings, fellow Shakespeareans! I have returned from the wilds of western
Massachusetts and the month-long training workshop at Shakespeare & Company. I
would be happy to provide details if folks are interested, but did want to say
to everyone that it was an incredible experience and one that I recommend
without reservation to anyone interested in Shakespeare.
I'd also like to recommend a novel that someone on the list mentioned a while
back: George Garrett's *Entered from the Sun,* which is "about" the murder of
Christopher Marlowe. A wonderful book, with lots of interesting insights
into/reflections on the period. Also just finished Carlo Ginsburg's *The Cheese
and the Worms,* which I highly recommend to anyone interested in
I've downloaded the last month or so of posts, but haven't had an opportunity
to read them yet. That will be pleasure reading over the next week or so!
Regards to all,
