I have a great thirst for British humor. During the seventies I lived for the
weekly return of Monte Python because it would make me laugh in a way that no
American comedy program ever could, but I never really enjoyed Fawlty Towers
because it made me too anxious. As the horrible denouement began to form it
just made me too un- comfortable. And Benny Hill, another English comedy
program, was just too stupid. This, for what it's worth.
