Dear SHAKSPEReans,

Many of you I am sure are wondering what has happened to SHAKSPER.  The last
digest I sent out was on Friday, May 17, 1996.

In the meantime, I have had a family medical emergency, the end of the semester
grades due, the reaccreditation report I am responsible for due, a serious
listserv crash, a mailer problem, and what seems like tons of other stuff.

It will probably take me a few days to catch up.
