Subject: Tempest post-colonialism
I recently reaad that the first post-colonial rendering of the Tempest was
achieved by Jonathan Miller in 1970. I must admit I was shocked that this
hadn't happened earlier. Are there any recognised post colonial readings of
the play which were produced before 1970?
