Subject:        World Shakespeare Bibliography on CD-ROM

I'm pleased to report that the World Shakespeare Bibliography on CD-ROM
has been awarded the Besterman Medal, given by the Library Association
(UK) for the year's outstanding bibliography. Mark Fisher, the new
minister for the arts, presented the medal at a reception in London on
17 June. More than 100 works were nominated for the Medal, the first
time it has been awarded to an electronic publication.
