Subject: The Tempest
Can anyone join me in speculating why The Tempest features so little on
this newsgroup? It is a play about issues that surely resonate
profoundly in our world, and yet we seem caught up in TGV, King John,
Hamlet oath, and .... well, pardon me, but pretty peripheral stuff.
Hasn't the post-modernism debate now about run its course - and even
beyond? And the anti-semitism stream seems to have gradually meandered
into fairly marginal areas too. Or am I just getting tired of the same
old titles every time I log in?
