In reply to Shaula Evans' query about Molly Mahood's book; PLAYING BIT
PARTS IN SHAKESPEARE'S PLAYS is a reissue by Routledge of BIT PARTS IN
SHAKESPEARE'S PLAYS, originally published by Cambridge UP in 1992 (so
says the LC "cataloging in process" record in RLIN!)

Molly Mahood's book *Bit Parts in Shakespeare's Plays' was originally
published by Cambridge University Press and is now being published by
Routledge in paperback. It is a superb, original and extremely enjoyable
book looking at some of those tiny roles in Shakespeare that critics
have nearly always ignored. Thoroughly recommended.

<Bit Parts in Shakespeare's Play> by Prof. Molly Mahood was published by
Cambridge U.P. as a hardback in 1992. It has some 250 pages and contains
chapters on 'Entities and nonentities'; 'Transposers'; 'Supporters';
'Stress and Counterstress'; 'Substance and Shadow in RIII;;'Friends of
Brutus'; Measure; Lear; A and C and the Tempest.

Wonderful book- hope this helps.
