I am a graduate student who is currently writing a paper that considers
Isabella as a Renaissance Mary Magdalene figure. Indeed, she seems to be
a conflation of the Mary Magdalene figures that are discussed in the
Bible .
. . . Also, Shakespeare did work on the King James Bible, correct? What
is known about his work on this text? Any help on these 2 issues would
be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
