Vpstart Crow Productions of Manassas, Virginia, has announced its 1999
season: A Spring co-production of Much Ado About Nothing with
Washington, D.C.'s Keegan Theater and an early summer series (now to be
called the New Dominion Shakespeare Festival) featuring Comedy of Errors
and Merchant of Venice.

List members in the Northern Virginia area may want to try to catch
Vpstart Crow's final production of the season, Manassas! A Civil War
Christmas, written by list member Mike Field. A humorous yet poignant
Christmas story set 50 years after the end of the Civil War, it features
a mysterious ghost and a domestic servant fond of quoting Shakespeare.
The play runs in Historic Manassas's new Cramer Hall, weekends beginning
Nov. 27. Tickets by Protix at 800-955-5566 and more information on the
