Subject: WT and Sheep
Hi Everyone,
In *The Winter's Tale*, Clown talks about having shorn 1500 sheep.
Using his math, he's projecting to make about 136 + pounds from the sale
of the wool. That's no mean sum!
My questions are: Does anyone have access to the price of a sheep? (I
know they'll go for different prices at different times and at different
ages, etc, but I'm trying to get a rough idea.)
Also, can anyone tell me what size herds sheep owners from different
social status groups would be likely to own?
Thanks, Jan
