Hi, Leslie.
What about circulating a summary of the play, or even a list of scenes,
in Chinese to the audience before the show? I'm going to an opera on
Saturday which has surtitles, which are probably out of the question,
but some sort of explanation of the goings-on in the first language of
the audience might be handy.

I just got the news about the video series from Ada Craniford: sounds
like a terrific idea! I'd love to hear how the students (especially
lower-level students, for whom I'd guess this series would be most
helpful) respond.
