The following article appeared in the October 19 issue of The Boston
Globe:
Written in the stars: Astronomer says sentries guarding Hamlet's castle
awaited a ghost - and saw an epochal supernova

It summarizes an article appearing in the current issue of Sky and
Telescope magazine in which physicist Donald Olson concludes that the
star discussed in the opening of HAMLET was a supernova spotted in 1572.
