Wes Flokerth tells me that there is a movie in production entitled Texas
Dick, involving two loser actors who wake as Falstaff and Richard II in
modern day Texas.  There is a website:  www.texasdick.com.

Also of note: a recent Smithsonian has an essay on Shakespeare in the
West.
