I teach at a small, rural university, where I've found my students have
great difficulty just getting through the language of Shakespeare, and
I've decided that it would be useful to give them scene-by-scene
synopses so that we can move beyond that level in class discussion (or
at least that's the theory I'm working on for now-I'm sure others would
contest its validity). Somewhere on the Internet I once saw such
synopses, which would save me a lot of time, but now I can't find them.
Can anyone point me to such a site or (a second-best alternative) a
published version of such material?
My guess is that this is not something of general interest, so you might
reply to me directly, but if you think it is, go ahead and reply
Thanks in advance.
