Subject:        Holm *Lear* on PBS

America readers may be interested that PBS has announced the RNT/Ian
Holm "King Lear" for Oct. 11th. This summer I saw a tape of its showing
on the BBC. It's quite good, if a bit dark with regards to lighting,
sets, and costumes. Holm is excellent, and Regan a pleasant surprise.
