Subject: Shakespeare in DC
I know that this information was distributed a few weeks ago, but I've
lost the piece of paper I wrote on. Could someone let me know what
Shakespeare plays are being performed in DC the weekend of July 17-19?
Thanks

If you'll be in London before July 25, you'll have the opportunity to
see Twelfth Night at the Young Vic, playing in rep with a stage version
of As I Lay Dying. I've not yet seen the Faulkner dramatization which
sounds intriguing, but recommend Twelfth Night for the staging, music
(sit on the side for a view of the musicians), and Thusitha Jayasundera
as Viola-Cesario-for starters. Great evening of theatre, and a pleasure
to see in conjunction with a Globe performance.
