Jimmy: There is actually another Shakespeare production just minutes
from D.C. you may not have known about. Vpstart Crow Productions based
in Manassas, Va. just completed a successful run of "Twelfth Night" and
is currently running "Cyrano de Bergerac" in an all-new iambic
pentameter translation created by list member Mike Field (that's me) and
Towson University professor of French Roger Poirier. Located on the
Manassas campus of Northern Virginia Community College, just off I-66
and immediately adjacent the Manassas Battlefield, Vpstart Crow's
productions are performed outside on a specially constructed stage in a
scenic wooded glen. "Cyrano" plays through June 28. For additional
information call 703-257-6572.
