Subject: Lois & Clark
Yesterday my local TV station ran a repeat of the "Lois & Clark" episode
where Lois nearly marries Lex Luthor (after he has purchased, then
destroyed the Daily Planet). In a limousine, Lex asks Lois how she
enjoyed the evening's performance of "Othello", then remarks he found
the black and white sets "quite ingenious". After Lex captures Superman
in a cage of Kryptonite, he remarks of Lois, (quoting roughly) "She's
beautiful, and therefore to be woo'd; She is a woman, therefore to be
won. I believe he attributed the quotation to Henry V, but no matter.
There were a few other references in this episode, but I'm afraid my
feeble brain has been dulled with too much Drew Carey and Canadian
figure skating to remember the rest.
Cheers,
Tanya Gough
