Subject:        CALL FOR PAPERS

Dr. Philip C. Kolin, Professor of English at the Univ. of Southern
Mississippi and the General Editor of the Garland Shakespeare Criticism
Series, is soliciting one-page proposals for 25 page essays on Othello
for a future collection on the play.  He wants proposals on papers that
deal directly and theoretically with race, representation, gender and
genre as well as performance.  Send just a one-page proposal to him via
