I do agree that Mark Rylance has sorely miscast himself as Cleopatra! I
could see him maybe as Celia in "As You Like it" or maybe even Ophelia,
but the one crucial think he lacks as an actor is forceful, majestical
personality and that is Cleopatra; nor can I imagine him as seductive
enough to dissipate the military energy and decisiveness of a great
general. He might even manage better as Lady Macbeth...but oh dear, I
hope he does not try. I think this is one show I'd rather hear about
than buy a ticket for! I shall rely upon all of you who go for
reviews....

Mr. Cook, et. al. -

Thank you so much for the help and offers I've received to aid me in my
self-study of Shakespeare. However, in a moment of trying to make more
space on my hard drive, I have done something to my email program & my
explorer program. Neither one will work properly. The perfect ending
to a horrible past couple of weeks.

I am saving and printing your messages and the digest to catch up on
while my computer is being worked on. When I get back on line, I will
be sure to get in touch with you.

Thank you,
Theresa Ramseyer
