Dear SHAKSPEReans,
Some trivia for you:
1)What is the source of Coleridge's praise of Shakespeare: "Wonderful
man! Not a line of his silliest character, & poorest play but furnished
some profound Truth, or happy illustration of Truth, or (as most
frequently) both together"
2)Who was Vettor Ducange (not sure about the spelling), supposedly an
early XIX cent. French translator of Shakespeare's works?
Thanks,
Shaul Bassi
