I cannot attend this performance but I would very much like to hear from
anyone who sees and is willing to describe its interpretation to me,
especially how the final transformation is handled.

If the City College of NY production of GALLATHEA is relatively uncut,
then it makes only the second US production I'm aware of. I directed
the first at Augustana College February 1998. I would be very
interested in hearing of any other US productions. I know that it was
also mounted at the Shakespeare Institute of the U of Birmingham and at
the U of New England in Australia.

The only other US production I know of was a heavily abridged version at
The Red Heel Theatre in Philadelphia.
