I enthusiastically second Barrett Fisher's praise of Hardy Cook, and I
am ashamed that I have not praised him myself, earlier. Thank you,
thank you Mr. Cook. May Shakespeare, Himself, appear before you and
bless you, as we all do.

I for one am in complete agreement with my fellow Minnesotan, Barrett
Fisher, and think our editor has done a marvelous job navigating the
time-consuming and difficult obstacle-course that no doubt is this
listserv.

Dear Prof. Cook,
Thank you for all your efforts. I appreciate your work and always look
forward to my messages from the SHAKSPER list. I am glad that our
colleague Mr. Fisher reminded us to acknowledge your thoughtful
maintenance of this valuable resource.
Thank You, and do keep it up!
Yours,
TR

Comment: RE: SHK 10.0520 Appreciation for the Editor
I would like to take this opportunity of heartily agreeing with Barrett
Fisher's appreciation of the Editor. I do not profess to possess the
standard of erudition of some of the correspondents in the list, however
I am sincerely grateful for being a member of this Conference, it has
added considerably to my knowledge of Shakespeare and I may add various
other aspects of learning.
Thank you. Simon Spiero.
[Editor's Note: I thank everyone for your expressions of appreciation.
Any more of them, I will consider as private mail to me. I have also
recently been informed that I have been awarded a rather significant
recognition by the University System of Maryland Board of Regents for my
work with SHAKSPER and Humanities Computing. Once the announcement is
made public, I will rather immodestly share it with you. Again, thanks.
