If you're looking for a cheap date in NYC, try "Many a Good Hanging
Prevents a Bad Marriage," a musical with dialogue and lyrics by
Shakespeare, at the Manhattan Playhouse, 439 W. 49 St., Fridays and
Saturdays at 8pm.

In celebration of Shakespeare's birthday, admission was free tonight
(Friday the 23rd); but the show is clearly worth the regular price of
$20.
