Subject: Shakespeare & Education
I wonder whether anyone on the list would know of some good material on
the topic of the use of Shakespeare in education, particularly in the
C19th. I've found one collection, edited by Lesley Aers & Nigel Wheale
and an old book by Henry Simon, but, so far, little enough else. I'm
particularly interested in the impact which the rise of Shakespeare in
the classroom had on Shakespeare publishing.
Please reply off-list, if you feel it is more appropriate.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Andrew
