This isn't only in reference to 10.1783, but a reminder for everyone.
When passing along a URL, many e-mail programs will create a clickable
(or spawnable, according to the old Pegasus terminology!) if you give
the URL with the http preface.  If you give the address as follows, no
link.

        www.clark.net/pub/tross/ws/ox5.html

However, if you give the address as follows, a link will be possible:

        http://www.clark.net/pub/tross/ws/ox5.html

Now let us see if what I've said is true for all e-mail applications!
