Subject: The Wedding Proposal Has Taken Place
I want to thank everyone for their suggestions for Shakespearean-type
speeches to make for my wedding proposal. I read through and considered
all of them and, in the end I decided to use my own words with which to
ask her.
Here's what happened:
I rode across a center green at my condo complex to my back porch on top
of a beautiful white horse. I wore a White Prince's costume (hand sewn,
immaculate) and was followed by my squire, two Renaissance girls and 14
costumed minstrel singers from a local high school. Of course,
following all that were my family and friends, many of whom were also in
costume - there were 80-90 of us with me at the point. My girlfriend
