Why not announce in class that you intend to teach from the unexpurgated
R&J, for example; and ask the kids to supply written consents from their
parents?

I hope I was not too harsh on Marti Markus who surely wanted to be
ironical - but then email is a medium where irony sometimes is not too
easily detected (especially for the ones lacking scholarly gifts and the
passport for the language barrier) :-). If I sounded narrow-minded or
