The 35th Conference on Editorial Problems will be held at the University
of Toronto November 12-13, 1999. The topic is "Editing London Records".
The speakers will discuss the problems presented by the medieval and
early modern records of Greater London. Two of the speakers Caroline
Barron and Vanessa Harding from the University of London are historians;
three-Mary Erler, Anne Lancashire and Sally-Beth MacLean-are editors for
the Records of Early English Drama project and will be considering the
complexity of their editorial challenges with the dramatic records of
Greater London. A registration form and detailed programme are
