There is a solid five inch item on the Curtain in Edward H. Sugden's
Topographical Dictionary to the Works of Shakespeare and His Fellow
Dramatists, Manchester at the University Press, 1925.  See page 41 and
an additional reference in the Corrigenda pasted inside the front cover
of the 580 page tome.  I am sorry that I don't have time to digest it
here, but good libraries may have copies.  If it is urgent to someone, I
