Subject: Shakespeare In and Out/The Donkey Show/New MSND on Video

I went to NYC last Friday to see The Donkey Show: A Midsummer Night's
Disco and to pay a visit to Troma. The Donkey Show was fantastic. It's
the story minus the text, played out to 70's disco hits. Extremely
witty and innocent. I urge anyone who can get to it to go. Well worth
the 25 bucks. I'll have photos (the cast was very accommodating) and an
account of it on my website Tuesday afternoon. Click under news in the
right frame, and scroll down.

Troma as brought out a (presumably new) A Midsummer Night's Dream made
by Timothy Hines. Apparently, it is NOT a spin-off like Tromeo and
Juliet but instead keeps the text of the play. Also, soon to be out on
video is the Shakespeare In and Out, a film about a porno actor who
wants to play Hamlet. It was originally entitled the Prince of Denmark.
