Subject:        Playing Cassius

Ronald Pickup speaks in the BBC  Shakespeare in Perspective  vol., 1982,
pp. 66-67 of playing Cassius in a "production" in which John Gielgud
played Caesar.  Would this have been the film in which Gielgud directed
and played Caesar and Robards played Brutus and Heston Antony?  late
sixties?  I saw it in spring, 1971.  Did Pickup play Cassius in this
film?  Did he play opposite Gielgud in any stage production of JC?
Thanks for any information.  Oh, yes, can anyone specify the studio and
date of the Caesar film in question.  Answer offline if you prefer.
