Subject:        Query : Edward III added to the Shakespeare Canon

I just read Tim Perfect's message announcing "the first full production"
at the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival of a recent addition to the
Shakespeare Canon. The CLEVESHAKES site says "Edward III" was included
into the Canon just a year ago - How did it happen? Where can I learn
about this play? Was it recently found, or was it already known but
attributed to another writer?  Was it published in Shakespeare's times?
Is the attribution generally accepted among Shakespeare scholars? Is
there a modern edition of this play?  I will welcome any kind of
