If the book you read in the used bookstore was in circulation much
before 1995, you might find a reference to it in Jonathan Bate's Arden
edition of Titus Andronicus. Bate admires that production particularly,
and has a compelling description of it in his introductory notes. If
you find it, please let us all know.

Subject: Titus
The CNN website has a review (not favorable) of Titus, with links to the
film's preview video. The review may be found at
http://www.cnn.com/2000/SHOWBIZ/Movies/02/22/review.titus/index.html
The film is evidently a Fox product. I also note that Fox is also
bringing out a TV sitcom named Titus. I trust that there is no
connection. (I shudder at the thought!).
Is this relevant to the character names discussion?
