Perhaps Professor Cook would like to see Julia Roberts as Lavinia;
especially in Act II? : )

Act 2, Scene 4
Another part of the forest.
Enter DEMETRIUS and CHIRON with LAVINIA, ravished; her hands cut off,
and her tongue cut out.

Is "ravished" a direction for the actress or costume design?

PS: If the lady at Cineplex Odeon Cinema is to be believed, Titus will
be closing in Washington DC on Thursday; so I'll be there Wednesday
evening, tonight being my night for that other classical dramatist,
Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
