I clearly remember seeing a picture of a Shrew production early in the
history of Stratford that featured Bill Needles in a cowboy suit.

There is a T/S set in the old west currently running at the Wing &
Groove theatre in Chicago (1935-1/2 West North). I thought it was
delightful. I saw a similar production of it some months ago at Moraine
Valley CC and found it enjoyable as well.
