Subject:        Times Square Stripper Measure for Measure

Diane Paulus and Randy Weiner, directors of the wonderful The Donkey
Show: A Midsummer Nihgt's Disco, sent me an invitation for a sneak
preview of their new production of Measure for Measure (just two sceens
in preview, 1.2. and 3.3).  I take it the production will open in April.

The flier reads

The 'Show World" Reunion Show featuring the ex-employees of Show World
including your favorite ****LIVE GIRLS**** In a rendition of Shakespeare
as you've never seen it.

Show World was a strip club right across from Port Authority on 42nd
st.  It was closed by Guiliani. Ducke Vincentio will be read, I take it,
as a kind of Viennese Guiliani.

Should be a lot more interesting than the stripper Macbeth that is still
going on in Florida.
