Subject: Shakespeare in Loving Dog

Those who hate messages about Shakespeare in modern culture should
delete now.

We are alone at last.

Modern culture isn't exactly the same as popular culture, but my wife
found this on the Dog of the Day site, which she checks, well, daily.
It is perhaps over cute, but the dog does love Shakespeare in Love. For
a picture of the dog, check out

http://www.dogoftheday.com/

Go to their "Previous Pet Honorees" section, and check out the dog for
3/17/00. Here is what the owners said about their Shakespeare in Love
loving dog.

> Our dog is Khan. He is a seven and a half month old Chow.
> He is an extremely curious pup. Khan is very outgoing and
> enjoys meeting new people and going anywhere!
> He has the distinction of cornering an alligator in our
> back yard when he was three months old! The gator
> was 4 feet long and an obvious surprise to all of us except
> Khan or should we say, "Crocodile Khandee."

> Khan lives in Southeast Texas where he is the proud owner
> of Bill & Mary. Khan is very affectionate to us, and likes other
> dogs. We found that he enjoys watching TV, especially
> when we have a movie on with surround sound. He seemed
> to like "Shakespeare In Love" the best as he was attentive
> throughout the entire movie! He loves to ride in the convertible
> so his fur can blow!

Aren't you glad you stayed to the end?
