Do you know anyone who happens to have photos of the statue of
Shakespeare in poets' corner and one of the tomb sculpture at Holy
Trinity Church in Stratford?

Would a picture of the statue in Southwark Cathedral (which has been
described as "looking as if made of gelled frog-spawn," be of interest?
I think I have that.

I don't think photos are allowed in Holy Trinity. They are usually
banned in the Abbey, but I think there is a special time once a week
when they may be taken.

Dear Richard: You will probably get a hundred replies from people who
have such. But tell your friend to go into a shop which handles old
postcards and he will find many there under famous people or England.
If nothing turns up, write me and I'll lend him what he/she needs. I
can't send photos via my e-mail. Louis Marder This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
