After looking through my Shakespeare Newsletters, I think I found the
review that you are looking for. In reviewing Lear from Study to
Stage: Essays in Criticism, eds. James Ogden and Arthur H. Scouten,
Thomas Pendleton, in the second part of a two-part review finds that "in
terms of the implicit debate the Ogden-Scouten collection has staged,
clearly the antirevisionists have the better of the argument"
Shakespeare Newsletter, (Spring, 1998), p. 13.
The first part of the review appeared in the Winter 1997 issue.
