Within the context of the Tarot cards the word tevel meaning 'world'
would end the search for an appropriate meaning - since there are other
arcanae for the characters and events in the play(R&J). Meanings
requiring alternative dotting, letters or historical names all are less
appropriate from this particular point of reference. But Shakespeare, I
agree is never mean about allowing other connotations to resonate.
